Census 200 TIGER files Includes Census blocks, block groups, tracts, demographics, roads, landmarks and school districts.

USDA Geospatial Data Gateway, http://datagateway.nrcs.usda.gov/: "The Geospatial Data Gateway provides One Stop Shopping for natural resources or environmental data at anytime, from anywhere, to anyone. The Gateway allows you to choose your area of interest, browse and select data from our catalog, customize the format, and have it downloaded or shipped on CD or DVD."
National Land Cover Database, http://www.mrlc.gov/mrlc2k_nlcd.asp: "The National Land Cover Database 2001 (NLCD2001) is now available for all of the conterminous United States for download. The three products available are Land Cover, Tree Canopy, and Imperviousness. Land Cover refers to the classification of the land using the land cover definitions mentioned previously. Imperviousness refers to impenetrable surfaces such as rooftops, roads, or parking lots. Tree canopy refers to a layer or multiple layers of branches and foliage at the top or crown of a forest's trees."
